Ginger & Syrup

A sweet, warm and deeply ginger flavoured favourite!

Our version of this classic cake uses real ground ginger for an unmistakably warm and spicy kick of flavour. The superb texture and slightly sticky crust from the golden syrup and black treacle makes a great compliment to any teatime break, and is beautiful served warm with crème fresh.

No artificial colouring or flavourings are used in the making of this product.  

Sizes:  Small (270g) & Large (550g)

Nut-free product – maintaining the bakery as a nut-free environment. 

Shelf life:  Ambient – 7 weeks.

Storage:  Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated.

Ingredients:

WHEAT Flour (with Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Sugar, Water, Golden Syrup [White Granulated Sugar, Raw Cane Sugar], Black Treacle [Invert Sugar Syrup, Molasses], Vegetable Oil (Rapeseed), Humectant (Glycerine), Ground Ginger, Ground Cinnamon, Emulsifiers (Mono & Di Glycerides of Fatty Acids, Propylene Glycol Esters of Fatty Acids, Polysorbate 60), Dried EGG White, Raising Agents (Disodium Diphosphate, Sodium Carbonate, Calcium Phosphate), EGG Yolk Powder, Whey Solids (MILK), Modified Maize Starch, Dextrose, Salt, Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Stabilisers (Guar Gum, Xanthan Gum, Carboxy Methyl Cellulose), Maltodextrin, Natural Flavouring. May contain traces of SOYA.
